It is once again time for us to meet in Mumbai at the picturesque Madh island beach resort Retreat to sharpen our skills as well as share our experiences on this fascinating modality.

Dr Scott Atlas, Prof & Head Neuroradiology, Stanford University, USA who could not be with us last year has confirmed and reconfirmed he will be there. Accompanying him will be Dr Mini Pathira, Director Muskulo skeletal Imaging, University of San Diego (UCSD). We will continue with our format of more focused lectures.

Workshops, which were introduced last year were very popular and shall continue this year.

Workshop 1 : Breast MRI
Workshop 2 : MR Spectroscopy
Workshop 3: Shoulder MRI
Workshop 4: Pediatric Neuro

These workshops will cover all aspects, from technical aspects of performing a good study, tips and tricks, post processing on work stations, interpretation and differential diagnosis. A large number of studies will be available for interpretation by the delegates.

Scientific presentations will be in the format of electronic posters. These must be submitted in a power point format, not exceeding 20 slides. These slides must include aim, materials and methods, results, discussion and conclusion. The power point file must be emailed to indianimagingacademy@gmail.com by December 7th 2009.

All authors will also need to indicate whether the posters may be distributed to all participants or permission is granted only for viewing. All posters will be displayed electronically during the meeting. The Best Poster presentations in both student and practicing radiologist category will receive attractive prizes.

Venue: 5 star deluxe Retreat on Marve Beach Madh , which has all facilities - pool, gymnasium, health club, Jacuzzi, sauna. Delegate rates include two nights accommodation on a twin-sharing basis, all meals from Friday lunch to Sunday evening tea. Free use of all facilities as well as invitation to cocktails and dinner on Friday the 18 December and Saturday the 19 of December.

The entire Hotel has been booked for our conference. Rooms will be allotted on the basis of receipt of registration form. As and when the accommodation fills up we will close the registrations this year. This year delegates registering for the workshop can check in early on Friday morning. To facilitate check in and for security reasons please send a Xerox copy of your PAN card, passport, drivers license, Voters ID or a credit card with a photo with your registration form.
