It is once again time for us to meet in Goa to sharpen our skills as well as share our experiences on this fascinating modality. We will continue with our format of shorter lectures (15-20 min) so as to keep the lectures more focused. Workshops, which are very popular, shall continue this year.

Workshop 1: HRCT of diffuse lung disease. This will cover all aspects of HRCT from technical aspects of performing a good HRCT, interpretation and differential diagnosis. A large number of HRCT will be available for interpretation by the delegates.

Workshop 2: Cardiac and Vascular Angios, this will cover all aspects of cardiac and vascular CT angios, indications, tips and tricks in contrast delivery, optimizing image quality, interpretation, pitfalls and hands on demonstrations of post processing on workstations.

Workshop 3: PET CT :  this will cover all aspects of PET CT including indications, pre procedure preparation, interpretation of results and common pitfalls.

Scientific presentations will be in the format of electronic posters. These must be submitted in a power point format, not exceeding 20 slides. These slides must include aim, materials and methods, results, discussion and conclusion. The power point file must be emailed to indianimagingacademy@gmail.com by July 20th 2010.

All authors will also need to indicate whether the posters may be distributed to all participants or permission is granted only for viewing. All posters will be displayed electronically during the meeting. The Best Poster presentations in both student and practicing radiologist category will receive attractive prizes. 

Venue: 5 star deluxe Holiday inn Resort will be the venue for the conference. (www.holidayinngoa.com). . This Resort has the best and largest conference facilities in Goa. The accommodations will be at the 5 star deluxe resorts Holiday inn and the Dona Sylvia resort. The two resorts are extremely close to each other, the distance being covered in a few mins. Round the clock shuttle buses also will ply between the two resorts. Both resorts have all 5 star facilities, pool, gymnasium, health club, Jacuzzi, sauna, disco, excellent beaches and a superb casino at Holiday inn. Delegates may use facilities at either resorts. The rooms at Dona Sylvia are in the form of Goan style cottages. (www.donasylvia.com). The entire Hotels have been booked for our conference. Rooms will be allotted on the basis of receipt of registration form. As and when the accommodation fills up we will close the registrations this year. This year delegates registering for the workshop can check in early on Friday morning.

Delegate rates include conference registration fees, two nights accommodation on a twin-sharing basis, all meals from Friday lunch to Sunday brunch. Free use of all facilities as well as invitation to cocktails and dinner on Friday the 20th August and Saturday the 21st August 2010.  Please also inform us in advance

arrival/departure information so we may pick you up and drop you to the airport or railway station.
